Overview

Trip24Now presents a captivating 6-day journey to the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh, starting with your arrival at Leh, situated at 3,505 meters (11,567 feet) above sea level. Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel to relax and acclimatize while exploring the charming Leh town. On the second day, enjoy a half-day excursion to iconic sites including the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Sangam, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Later, visit Leh Palace and witness a stunning sunset at Shanti Stupa.

The adventure continues on day three as you drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world at 5,550 meters (18,380 feet). Explore the picturesque valley, visit Diskit Monastery with its impressive 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue, and experience a ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels amid the sand dunes of Hunder.

On day four, travel to the striking Pangong Lake, situated at 14,500 feet, passing through Shayok village along a scenic route. Spend the day soaking in the serene beauty of the lake and surrounding mountains. Rise early on day five to witness the sunrise over Pangong Lake before returning to Leh via the Chang La pass at 5,486 meters. Spend your evening at leisure or shopping in Leh.

The remaining 50% Payment must be cleared at least 21 days before the trip date

Tour Plan

Day 01 Arrival in Leh (3,505 m / 11,567 ft)

Arrival at Leh airport and transfer to hotel. Full day at leisure for rest and acclimatization. Optional local exploration in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 02 Leh Sightseeing – Hall of Fame, Sangam, Magnetic Hill

After breakfast, visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Sangam (Indus-Zanskar confluence). Return to the hotel. Evening visit to Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (5,550 m / 18,380 ft | 125 km | 5–6 hrs)

Early morning drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. En route, visit Diskit Monastery and the giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Hunder and explore the sand dunes. Optional double-humped camel ride (direct payment). Overnight stay at camp/hotel in Nubra.

Day 04 Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shayok (165 km | 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake via the scenic Shayok route. Drive along the Shayok River with stunning landscapes throughout. Arrive at Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) by afternoon. Leisure time by the lake. Overnight stay at a camp/hotel near Pangong.

Day 05 Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass (160 km | 5–6 hrs)

Wake up early for sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Changla Pass (5,486 m). Check in to the hotel. Evening free for shopping or relaxation. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.
